It's an uncertain time out there... The hospitality industry has taken a massive hit, everything is closing down, a number of our friends have lost their jobs. Our very own Dean Buchanan was recently let go from the Old Synagogue due to it's closure along with 100+ other staff. The worst thing is that we don't know what's next. As more and more people go into isolation, Dean and the team want to bring the cocktails and daily creativity from what was once their beloved bars to your home. Just because your favourite bar is no more that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a great drink. We're not quite at goon bag status just yet. What we're offering is an Isolation Care Pack. It's a little but of fun in these gloomy times but also some damn tasty drinks. What would've been on the cocktail list is now available for you at home. We're providing 4 x 3 different ready to serve cocktails in the pack. These are:
-
2 x Cold Brew Martini
Haiver midroast coffee spirit (Offshoot Brazilian beans), cold brew coffee, pineapple syrup.
-
1 x Lemon Myrtle Gimlet
Haiver Botanical Gin, dry vermouth, lemon myrtle syrup and distilled lemon myrtle water.
-
1 x Macadamia Martini
Haiver Vodka, macadamia oil, dry vermouth, Haiver distilled mandarin.
In light of these troubling times one of our partners Matt Anastassiou has also humbly devoted all his time and chemical engineering expertise to producing hand sanitiser and ensuring it's made available to the public. As such this will also be a feature of the Isolation Care Package. You'll receive 1 x 500ml hand sanitiser made possible by Sir Matthew and the Haiver Distillery. Our last parting gift to you is a roll of *TP, ohh all mighty TP... Toilet paper's rise to fame has been meteoric and one that Empirical Spirits can't even match! We don't know why it is, I guess everyone is shitting themselves a bit with 'rona but regardless we're here to do what we can. Or at least do what we can with our take on a ration of TP. *Massive disclaimer right there. 😉
